ABOUT SWAYING TREE YOGA...

Swaying Tree Yoga was created to empower individuals to learn, practice and share yoga postures,
movement, and simple breath work techniques that reset the mind and body
to reduce anxiety and to connect to the peace within. 


I come not from a background of psychology or therapy, but studied and learned these techniques out of necessity. After years of working in advertising, dealing with tight deadlines and packed NYC subways, I often (too often!)
felt my stress rising and needed fo find quick and effective ways to center myself to continue on to whatever the
next task was with efficiency. The focus of my practice is sharing these simple anxiety reducing techniques.


What is the inspiration for my teaching? When I empower others, I feel joy :)

RESILIENCE
IS IN THE
SWAY!!!

While watching a weather report about an intensifying hurricane, I observed trees swaying back and forth in the increasing intensity of the winds, and then heard the reporter say the resilience of the trees is in the sway. With that in mind, I developed this space for yoga,
wellness and fun experimentation to achieve health and happiness...
and found a name to call it too! :)

Come join me IN PERSON! with The Yoga Trail on Tuesdays and Fridays for a noontime yoga break in this 60-minute Hatha class.

Open to all levels, the emphasis of class will be on relaxing breathing techniques, an exploration of holding basic poses, and a focus on movements which calm...and empower! The goal is to have the practitioners continue on with the day feeling uplifted, centered and content!
